Master of Pharmacy

Master of Pharmacy (MPharma) in India is offered as post graduate course. The course focuses on specialisation in the field of pharmacy. The MPharma courses offered by the college leads to entry into the pharmacy profession. MPharma is a qualification for registration to practice as a pharmacist for graduates with a bachelor's degree in any science or medical science that includes the required prerequisites. The MPharm degree is not an advanced follow-up degree for pharmacists. At present, either the BPharm or MPharm degree is accepted for registration as a practicing pharmacist.
The scope of M.Pharm is immense. You have job opportunities in both the sectors. You can join the various pharmaceutical companies. Apart from this you can apply for the post of Drug Inspector. You need to attend the drug Inspector exam which is conducted by the UPSC

Duration - 2yrs

A candidate must have passed B.Pharm with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Weightage will be given to GPAT qualified candidates.
Mode of Admission
  • Through combined Entrance Test of IUET-2016

  • The list of the candidates according to their order of merit in entrance examination and selected for counselling to M.Pharm courses shall be displayed on Notice Board/ Website of the University. However, the intimation letter shall also be sent only to selected candidates for communicating the date of counselling on which they have to report for completing the admission formalities.
  • Selection for admission to M.Pharm. courses shall be done through the counselling and in the order of merit of the Entrance Test.
  • NRI/left over seats shall be filled on the merit of qualifying examination
