Overviewof the Program: This program contains the advancement of control system design,and its application to the green energy technology. The course focuses on the methodologies, technologies, processes, and approaches involved in the adoption of automatic control in power generation, distribution, and protection. In the past three decades, research and development in green energy has exploded, yielding hundreds of promising new technologies that can reduce our dependence on coal, oil, and natural gas.To realize its full potential, however, green energy technology must continue to improve and users must learn how to integrate renewables into the electricity and transportation fuel systems. The course introduces and focuses on the application of green energy such as solar and wind which also deals with their different control strategies. Further, the course will also cover different control strategies for the electrical drive system. The program also involves the industrial automation and modern control strategy on MATLAB platform.

The objective of this course is to aware and enhanced the soft computing skills, the research- based outcome in recent trends of control system and green energy domain for the technical teachers, academicians and research students upon the various key technologies used these days.

Outcomes: By the end of the program, the participants should be able to understand the technical core issue of the following topics:
