Faculty Development Program (FDP) On Advances in Control and Its Application in Power Technology.



   Faculties have the most important role to play in shaping the engineering student’s career and unarguably an institution having the best faculties who are skilled in latest technologies will be able to sustain and produce the best of talent in coming years. This is so true for the Electrical Engineering branch, where a lot of innovative technologies are arising everyday and engineering students and faculty of this branch needs to be trained in these latest technologies to be equipped with the modern mechanization and stay ahead of their peers.


   Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Advances in Control and Its Application in Power Technology” is to be held from 24th - 28th September, 2018 at Integral University, Lucknow, under the banner of HRDC, Integral University ,Electronics and ICT Academy (GOI), NIT Patna, coordinated by Department of Electrical Engineering Integral University, Lucknow and National Institute of Technology, Patna.

Objective and Scope: The objective of this course is to aware and enhanced the soft computing Skills, research based outcome in recent trends of Electrical and Electronics domain for the technical teachers upon the various key technologies used these days.

The following are the broad topics, going to be covered in this course:

  • Modeling of Renewable Energy Systems
  • Power electronics Application in Smart Grid
  • Research based modern Power system application
  • Industries based automation & application in control system
  • Advancement of Power and drives as well as their control approach

One of the key features of this course is that, along with discussing the advanced research topics and cutting edge technologies, it will encompass fundamental aspects of digital as well as Electrical and Electronics domain technologies.
