Activities of CCG&D

  • CCG&D organises various guest lectures targeting different sectors by industry experts from time to time for the benefit of our students.
  • All students of final year and Pre final year are imparted aptitude training by dedicated trainers in order to prepare them for campus recruitment drives. Two periods per week are allotted for PPP (Pre Placement Preparations) in the time table for this purpose. Soft Skill Development is also taken up during these PPP classes in order to ensure over all personality development of the students.
  • Students and their parents are encouraged to meet the TPOs and Director (CCG&D) at any time during the working hours for seeking career guidance and career consultations.
  • Students who get selected for armed forces, are required to undergo SSB (Services Selection Board) interview by Army Headquarters. Arrangements have been made to provide preliminary guidance to students regarding SSB Interview. As a future plan, it is proposed to set up a SSB coaching Centre in the University for the benefit of our students.
  • CCG&D has started GATE / CAT / GRE / TOEFL / IELTS coaching sessions from Feb 2016. This initiative is expected to add value to career guidance activities in the University and promote higher learning in addition to campus recruitment. CCG&D has also planned to launch its newly designed website within a week for greater interaction among the recruiters, alumnis, students and faculty members. This would lead to greater participation of all stake holders in training and placement.
  • All unplaced students remain on the active roll of CCG&D for a duration of 03 years after their graduation from the University. A large number of PSU / Govt. opportunities and other vacancies in the Pvt Sector are informed to them from time to time for applying and appearing in the interview. Students are also encouraged to explore entrepreneurship possibilities and admission for the higher courses.
