The mission of the department is to help facilitate the overall improvement in National and Global Management System of Academia, Business and Industry by imparting articulated knowledge in the area of education, training, research, extension and consultancy services par with premier Business Schools and World Class Corporate Leaders.

In this 21 st century Commerce and Management Education has undergone sea change nationally and globally ,which has lead to the emerging challenges before the students and academia to keep pace with growing needs and demands of present day business and industry .

Today, Sir Charles Darwin Principle of Survival of the fittest has been transformed to the survival of the fastest to the survival of the most competitive. Therefore, today both the students and faculty have to rise to the occasion and meet the challenges of the present day Society, Business and Industry, nationally and globally.

The Department of Business Management, under the Faculty of Management and Research was established way back in 2004,under the flagship of the prestigious Integral University, Lucknow.

Currently the Department is running BBA| B.Com(Hons)|M.Com |MBA and Ph.D. Programme in the areas of Commerce and Management which has lead to the rechristening of the name of the Department and Faculty respectively as Department of Commerce & Management and Faculty of Commerce & Management. The Department has qualified faculty from academia and Industry and course curricula at par with any B-School of the country. The Department has a full-fledged Training & Placement Cell, organizing “On the Job Training for Commerce & Management students in the companies of repute in this Corporate World. The Department is regularly inviting Expert Guest Faculty from academic world and Industry, to deliver lecture, organize Business games and exercises to make the students acquainted with the real life business situations.

In this era of changing dimensions of Information Technology the Placement Cell of the Department has released its “FIRST E-BROCHURE--2017” for organizing Campus Placement interviews for our students in companies and organizations of repute in this country and abroad.

Finally, I consider my students fortunate to have got opportunity to pursue courses being imparted in this Department of Commerce and Management, under the Faculty of Commerce & Management in this prestigious Integral University, Lucknow.
