An awareness program was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering on 22th October 2016 at the Chetanpurwa Village, Kursi road, Tehsil Bakshi ka Talab, Lucknow. Students of B.Tech Civil Engineering actively participated in the event. As populations and housing costs continue to increase, many families and students of the community are struggling to find affordable places to live.
This student-led awareness program tackles the increasing un-affordability and inaccessibility of housing in the local community. The campaign aimed to decrease the rent of most campus accommodation to a student defined definition of affordable.
So that all people wishing to go to university/institution can do so despite their socio-economic background and to ensure that the designs are truly sustainable.
