The Department of Design, Faculty of Architecture, Planning & Design had organised an Expert Talk: Career Perspective in Design on 22nd May, 2021 via Online Mode. In order to highlight the importance of Product & Interior Design in today’s era. The students/attendees participated in the talk with great zeal. Course coordinator Ar. Zulnoorain Khairoowala, highlighted about the need & importance of Design course in the Department in his introductory talk with the following words: These types of talks are helpful to portray the innovations to get considerable success and fame in the industry.
Invited eminent speaker Ar. Mohammad Shazeb highlighted the students with his inspirational thoughts and enlightened us with the commendable talk on the subject. Distinguished Faculty members: Ar. Sonal Gupta & Ar. Jyotti R Singh of the department also shared their experience with the students.
The program was successfully organised with the constant support of Ar. Safa Seraj (Head, Department of Design) & Prof. Dr. Indrani Chakraborty (Dean, Faculty of Architecture, Planning & Design). Around 100 of attendees from different states of India participated in the talk. Students from varied academic backgrounds, 10+2 and 10+3 (diploma), took part in the talk. Students also suggested their valuable feedback & conveyed that these types of talks need to be held on a regular basis. The participants appreciated the presentation skills & professional knowledge shared by the expert during the talk.
The program ended successfully by giving a vote of thanks to the speaker and participants by Ar. Sameha Siddiqui, faculty member of the department. The program was a resounding success due to the active participation of the students, colleagues, head & dean.
