Fiesta 2026, an eagerly awaited Artistic, Cultural, Literary, Technical and Sports Festival of Integral University, commenced with great enthusiasm and grandeur from 5th to 7th February 2026. The inaugural day was marked by vibrant performances, esteemed guests, and a celebration of multiculturalism and creativity.
Inauguration and Dignitaries' Welcome
The day began with the arrival of the dignitaries, who were warmly welcomed with bouquets. The Chief Guest and Chief Patron of the event was Prof. S.W. Akhtar, Hon’ble Chancellor and Founder of Integral University. Other eminent guests included Mrs. Azra Waseem, Madam Chancellor; Patrons Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar, Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor; and Prof. Javed Musarrat, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor. Also present were Prof. Mohd. Haris Siddique, Registrar, and Prof. Monowar Alam Khalid, Dean of Students’ Welfare (Convener), along with other distinguished members of the university administration.
Ceremonial Opening
The festival was formally inaugurated, followed by a Tarana performance by the students of High Note Music Society, filling the atmosphere with cultural pride and vibrancy. Prof. S.W. Akhtar, Chancellor and Founder of the University, blessed the students and appreciated their efforts in organizing such a grand event. He emphasized the importance of cultural and co-curricular activities and encouraged students to actively participate and enjoy the fest. This was followed by Fiesta theme Song amidst gaiety and revelry.
Musical and Cultural Performances
The High Note Music Society added to the excitement with a lively performance titled Cultural Swirl. This was followed by a series of engaging performances including Skit, Voice of Soul, Bait Bazi, Urban Aurora: The Glittering Street, and Grapple of Nomads, showcasing the diverse cultural backgrounds of the university’s student body.
Tamsili Mushaira: Poetry Comes Alive was a dramatic poetic symposium that combined humor, wit, and poignant social commentary. Student poets enacted their verses through expressive performances, blending theatre with Urdu poetry. The session was a tribute to the classical art of Mushaira while giving it a contemporary twist.
Day 2
The second day of Fiesta 2026 carried forward the vibrant spirit of the festival with an exciting blend of intellectual exchange and soulful performances. The lush university lawns once again became the center of artistic expression and student enthusiasm.
The day began with Rapverse, followed by Debate Competitions (English and Hindi), inviting participants to showcase their oratory skills and critical thinking. Students engaged passionately in thought-provoking discussions on contemporary issues. The event fostered a culture of healthy argument and intellectual stimulation, drawing applause from both peers and faculty.
Management students presented programs including Campus to Corporate, Zaidi’s Magic, Kalam-e-Qawwali, Heritage Walk, Charkha to Catwalk, and International Walk.
Shaam-e-Integral: An Evening of Ghazals
As dusk fell, the ambiance turned serene and poetic with Shaam-e-Integral, an elegant Ghazal evening. Student performers and guest artists presented soulful ghazals that touched hearts and paid tribute to the rich tradition of Urdu poetry. The calm night air resonated with evocative verses and soft melodies, providing a perfect cultural retreat after an energetic day.
Soulful Qawwali Performance
A mesmerizing Qawwali performance blended spiritual tradition with artistic expression. The rhythmic claps, powerful vocals, and soulful lyrics struck a chord with the audience, reminding everyone of the rich musical heritage of the subcontinent.
Fiesta Sports Closing Ceremony
The day also witnessed the Fiesta Sports Closing Ceremony, a tribute to the university’s sports community. Outstanding sportsmen and inter-departmental teams were honored for their performances across a range of athletic events, reinforcing the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.
Day 3
The day commenced with a floral welcome and introduction of the Chief Guest, Shri Nand Gopal Gupta “Nandi”, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI and Investment Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh, along with the Guest of Honour, Dr. Ayat Saad Ahmad, Cultural and Financial Attaché, Embassy of Egypt. The event proceeded with the presentation of a memento to the guests and a vote of thanks, acknowledging their gracious presence and contributions.
Address and Final Celebrations
The event continued with the University Tarana, filling the atmosphere with institutional pride. The Chief Guest, Shri Nand Gopal Gupta “Nandi”, addressed the gathering. Blessings were also given by the Chief Patron, Prof. S.W. Akhtar, Hon’ble Chancellor and Founder of Integral University. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Javed Musarrat, addressed the gathering, praised the organizational excellence of the festival, and appreciated the diverse talent displayed by students.
This session also included the Valedictory Ceremony and Prize Distribution. Prof. Furqan Qamar, Chief, Advisor to the Hon’ble Chancellor, distributed the Prize to various literary, Artistic, Technical, cultural and Sports competitions, held during the festival. Winners were felicitated with certificates, medals, and trophies in recognition of their efforts and achievements.
Afternoon Session: Cultural Diversity and Celebrations
The festival report was presented by Prof. M. A. Khalid, Dean of Students’ Welfare, who outlined the highlights and successes of the three-day celebration.
Adding a global touch, international students performed a Nigerian song, which was met with great applause and enthusiasm. One of the most colorful events of the day was the Met Gala Show, showcasing traditional costumes, dances, and customs of various Indian states, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry of India.
Side by side, throughout the three days, cultural, literary, technical, and artistic programs were conducted at different venues across Integral University with great fervor. A total of 100 programs were conducted during the festival. Nearly 30 universities participated in Fiesta 2026. Additionally, 120 stalls were set up for food, clothing, decorative items, and other multiple attractions.
The event concluded with the National Anthem, filling the air with patriotic zeal.

Integral University conducts Fiesta to promote holistic development beyond academics by nurturing students’ artistic, cultural, literary, technical, and sports talents. The festival provides a platform for creativity, leadership, teamwork, and healthy competition while strengthening unity and cultural harmony. Through Fiesta, the University reaffirms its commitment to shaping confident, skilled, and socially responsible individuals prepared to excel in all spheres of life.
