On March 18, 2021 the legal Aid Society, Faculty of Law, Integral University has organized a Free-legal Aid camp at Village- Paara, Kursi Road, Lucknow. The experts for this Camp was Advocate Abhinav Gupta [High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench], Advocate Krishna Mani Tripathi [High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench], Society Faculty Coordinator Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh, Dr. Mirza Junaid Beg and other faculty members of the department were also present at the Camp. The Legal Aid Society was established under the guidance of the faculty coordinator to promote the objective of Article 39A of the Constitution of India.
In this spirit the Society organized a Free Legal Aid Camp to cater to the needs of people living on the outskirts of Lucknow at the Paara Village, Kursi Road, Lucknow. The program started with an awareness session: Umar Saif Khan and Zoma Itrat Khan made people aware of their constitutional rights and duties. The program proceeded with Advocate Abhinav Gupta making people aware of free Legal Aid and its importance and Advocate Krishnath Mani Tripathi about Rights to Education. The awareness session ended with a Nukkad Natak on rights of Women performed by students of the Faculty of Law, Integral University.
Post awareness session: Free legal Aid Camp was organized with the help of renewed lawyers of Lucknow, where the people of Paara came around to seek legal advice for their sub-judice legal matters. Around 30 people successfully sought the advice and help of our legal experts. The students of the Faculty of Law also joined the Camp to learn from legal experts and facilitate the organization of the Camp.
