The Department of Computer Application firmly believes that site visits can help with the educational aspect of a lesson plan. It enables the students to gain important insight into how theoretical knowledge is applied in real-world situations. In this regard, the department has organized an educational tour to the G-20 Summit at The Centrum hotel on February 15, 2023, to witness a first-of-its-kind, three-day, massive exhibition in India on the G-20's summit on digital economy.
The goals of a field trip to the G20 summit exhibition were to:

Improve student knowledge and provide real-world experience to broaden their perspectives.

Provide insight into the most cutting-edge innovative ideas and new technologies used in various departments and sectors of the IT Industry.
At the site, the students were welcomed by the summit members The students and faculty members during the visit got the opportunity to see and experience the innovative ideas and products from various IT government agencies, including the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Telecom, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Tourism and Culture, Agriculture, Agricultural Education and Research, and a glimpse of Digital India. The student’s experiences were greatly enhanced by their exposure to Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality supported by Artificial Intelligence. Various interactive zones and installations within the exhibition told the story of how Artificial Intelligence has evolved in India and they can use it for innovative solutions.
Visit to the summit widened the knowledge of our students through demonstration of new technologies. At last, students were given a complete tour of the exhibition and the experimental part which made them more aware of the research work going on currently in various fields of technology. It was a new, interesting and informative experience for all.
