Integral University Event

Students of Integral University, Lucknow, actively participated in Science Expo 2026, organized by the Regional Science City, Lucknow (A Unit of the National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Government of India) from 28th to 30th January 2026. The three-day event aimed to bridge the gap between scientific institutions and the general public through interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and outreach activities. Integral University participated as a Patron Institution, showcasing its research and innovation initiatives through a dedicated exhibition stall.

The University’s participation was organized under the guidance of Prof. Monowar Alam Khalid, Dean, Students’ Welfare, who encouraged students to present innovative projects demonstrating the University's commitment to research, technology, and societal development.

The Expo was inaugurated by Shri Brajesh Pathak, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, in the presence of Dr. Neeraj Bora, MLA, Lucknow North, Dr. Prabodh Kumar Trivedi, Director, CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), Lucknow, and Smt. Nandini Harinath, Deputy Director, ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network, Bengaluru. The inaugural ceremony highlighted the transformative role of science and innovation in addressing societal challenges and promoting sustainable development.

Integral University’s stall was coordinated by Dr. Mohammed Asim, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, and Mr. Shubham Dubey from the Robotics Lab, who showcased two innovative projects that attracted significant attention from visitors and dignitaries:

  • Degree Lab Helicopter – A precision-controlled model demonstrating advanced aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and control systems.
  • Hydroponic System – A soil-less cultivation technology highlighting sustainable agriculture practices and efficient water utilization.

The exhibits received an overwhelming response from school students, educators, researchers, and science enthusiasts. Visitors actively engaged with the demonstrations, explored the working principles behind the projects, and gained valuable insights into robotics, automation, aerodynamics, and sustainable agricultural technologies. The interactive nature of the presentations and the enthusiasm of the University team made the stall one of the most visited attractions throughout the event.

The projects were particularly appreciated for their practical relevance and innovative approach. School students from across Lucknow and nearby districts participated enthusiastically, asking insightful questions and interacting directly with the displayed models. Feedback from teachers and visitors highlighted the exhibits as inspiring examples of how scientific knowledge can be translated into real-world solutions.

The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony graced by Shri Maneesh Mittal, IFS, Secretary, Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Shri Rajinder Kumar, Additional Director General, Geological Survey of India, Lucknow.
