INTRODUCTION
The Department of Computer Application, Integral University, Lucknow, in association with Integral University Social Service (IUSS) and Madad Karona Foundation, successfully organized "KOSHISH" a donation drive under Fiesta 2026. The initiative aimed to promote social responsibility among students and staff while supporting underprivileged communities through the collection of essential ration items and monetary contributions. The event served as a platform to encourage compassion, empathy, and community engagement.

ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
“KOSHISH” was conceptualized as a humanitarian effort to support underprivileged families by collecting essential ration items and monetary contributions.
Items Collected:
Rice, wheat flour (atta), pulses (toor dal, moong dal), cooking oil, sugar, salt, and khajoor.
The initiative emphasized the importance of empathy, sharing, and social contribution, encouraging individuals to contribute according to their capacity.

PROCEEDINGS OF EVENT
The event commenced with the setup of donation collection points within the campus, where students and faculty actively contributed essential items and monetary support.
Volunteers played a key role in organizing the collection process, ensuring proper management, recording, and segregation of items. Awareness regarding the importance of social service and helping the underprivileged was also promoted throughout the event.
Faculty members guided and supervised the entire process, ensuring transparency and smooth execution. The drive witnessed active engagement and enthusiastic participation from students across various programs.
The event concluded with the proper documentation of collected items and preparation for distribution to the needy communities through the supporting organization.

STUDENT PARTICIPATION
Students from BCA and MCA actively participated in the donation drive. They contributed ration items, assisted in organizing the event, and volunteered in handling logistics.
The event provided students with an opportunity to develop a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and empathy towards society. Their active involvement reflected a strong commitment to social causes and community welfare.

CONCLUSION REMARK
The Department of Computer Application expresses sincere gratitude to Integral University Social Service (IUSS) and Madad Karona Foundation for their valuable support and collaboration in successfully organizing the donation drive. The department also extends special thanks to Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Faisal, Professor & Head, Department of Computer Application, for his constant guidance and encouragement. Appreciation is also extended to the faculty coordinators, student coordinators, and all volunteers for their dedicated efforts in organizing and managing the event efficiently.
The Department looks forward to organizing similar initiatives in the future to continue fostering a spirit of service and social commitment.
