The Department of Environmental Science, faculty of Science organized a "Plastic Free Awareness Campaign" 2021 to inform the local communities about the ill-efforts of plastic waste pollution on the Environment and H view of the above. a visit was made to Bhakamau village, Bakshi Ka Talab near Lucknow for the furtherance of aware the nearby primary school students of Bhakamau village about the negative implication of plastic waste environment and human health and how everyday actions are taken with right awareness can lessen the recurr plastic pollution .This awareness program was flagged off by Prof. M.A Khalid, Head of. Department Environment who encourage all the UG and PG students of the department along with faculty members. to undertake this awareness at Bhakamau, Bakshi Ka Talab. All the fatuity members of environmental science enthusiastically pan visit along with the students of the department. Students and faculty members delivered informative talks and interior village school students, thereby spreading awareness about plastics and their impact and ways to reduce it. Recycling is not the only effective solution to plastic pollution, but one has to avoid the use of plastic wherever program of the department of Environmental Science, Integral University is a small step towards "Empowering a difference" by spreading awareness among the local community.
