An awareness program on "Say no to plastic bags" was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering on 2nd November 2016 at Village- Dasauli, Bakhshi ka Talaab, Lucknow. The students o B.Tech. Civil Engineering There were about 350 students in the whole events program was arranged. Types of plastic pollution created by human beings have been discussed. The possible changes each one of us can incorporate into our daily lives that will make a remarkable impact on our environment have been discussed in the program. Due to active participation of stakeholders the program was successful.
