The Department of Community Medicine, Integral Institute of Medical Sciences and Research organized a "School Health Camp" under 'School Health Program' scheme on
05-09-2016 at "Sarvodaya Public School', under Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC),
Sarvodaya Nagar, Lucknow.
School Health Programme aims at health appraisal of school children, prevention of communicable diseases, healthful environment, nutritional services, eye care, ear nose and throat care, dental health care, and remedial measure & follow up.
Provision of educational and counselling opportunities for promoting and maintaining individuals, family, and community health. A detailed general health examination was carried out. Counselling and health education on personal hygiene and prevention of water borne diseases was given to students and teachers.
