The Environmental Law Society,Faculty of Law, Integral University organized a Signature Campaign and Tree Plantation Drive on the theme " GO GREEN BEFORE GREEN GOES" on 30 October 2021. The Faculty Coordinator Dr. Mirza Juned Beg. Prof. Wajahul Haq (Dean Research and Development, Integral University). Dr.Mir Snober Shabnam (Department of Bioengineering) along with the faculty members student' of the Department of Law planted saplings in the garden of the Prathmik Vidyalaya, Dasauli, Kursi Road, Lucknow to raise awareness and consciousness about environment among the masses. Going green means living life in a way that is friendly to the environment and the earth as a whole. It could also mean contributing toward. Maintaining the natural ecological balance in the environment and preserving the planet and its natural systems resources. Overall, people who go green take steps to minimize the harm that they do to the environment, such as the carbon footprints they leave behind.
This campaign was launched under the umbrella theme of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav Through this Campaign. The society labeled the knowledge and practices that can lead to more environmentally friendly and ecologically responsible decisions and lifestyles, which can help protect the environment and sustain its natural resources for current and future generations.
