The Department of Community Medicine, Integral Institute of Medical Sciences & Research organized a counselling on world cancer day on 04-02-2020 at Rural Health and Training Centre (RHTC) Sansarpur, Integral Institute of medical sciences and research (IIMSR), Lucknow.
Twenty beneficiaries were attended and 7 faculty/staff were involved. Number of students participated :24. Provision of health counselling is for promoting and maintaining individuals, family and community health.
This year's World Cancer Day's theme, "I Am and I Will," is all about you and your commitment to act. We believe that through our positive actions, together we can reach the target of reducing the number of premature deaths from cancer and noncommunicable diseases by one third by 2030.
