The Department of Community Medicine, Integral Institute of Medical Sciences and Research commemorated "World Tuberculosis Day”, under ‘Revised National Tuberculosis Programme’ on 24-03-2018 at Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC) Sarvodaya Nagar, Lucknow.
Each year, we commemorate World Tuberculosis (TB) Day on March 24 to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of TB, and to step up efforts to end the global TB epidemic. The theme for this year is 'Wanted : Leaders for a TB-free World'. Health education about tuberculosis was given to participants.
