In the recent years, we saw the emergence of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) as one of the most sought-after courses among the professional degrees. It has become a pre-requisite qualification for the aspirants entering the software profession. This was not the situation 3-4 years back. The boom in the IT sector has turned the tide towards MCA and now the MCA graduates along with the engineering graduates are ruling the Software Arena. Every company looks to run their communication systems and information technology in an improvised and highly effective manner. In this endeavor they are in the need of experts, who will be in a position to implement computer science principles for solving the problems caused by the interface of technology and business. This requirement of the companies will be perfectly satisfied by the MCA graduates.

• Eligibilty

• For First Year : The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 yrs duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level Passed in aggregate from a recognized University.
• For Lateral Entry : A Bachelor's Degree of min. 3yrs duration in BCA, B.Sc.-(IT/Computer Science/Computer Application) with mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate level with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University.

• Admission Procedure

• Admission on the basis of merit in IUET-2023.

Important Note

• Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam in the current year and have applied for admission in any UG/PG program of this University should submit the Marks Sheet of the qualifying examination latest by July/Aug of the same year.
