MASTER OF SURGERY - OPHTHALMOLOGY
Master of Surgery (MS) Ophthalmology is a 3 years full time post graduate degree course. The course provides basic and advanced theoretical knowledge, practical, clinical and surgical skill in eye and all clinical conditions pertaining to it. The course focuses on training in performing detailed ocular examination, various investigations and their interpretation and medical as well as surgical management of ocular diseases. It encompasses training in recent advancements in eye, attitude, medical ethics, medico legal aspects as well as research methodology and thesis writing. It also includes academic training pertaining to imparting teaching skills to undergraduates, juniors and working as a part of team.
