PhD Biomedical Engineering or Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering is a 3-year Doctorate Biomedical Engineering course which can be extended up to 5 years. The Biomedical Engineering program comprises a study of Tissue Engineering, Molecular or Systems-Level Biology/ Physiology and Mathematics.

While pursuing this course students get an opportunity to research the monitoring, treating, and prevention of a variety of medical conditions, including cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, spinal cord injuries, and tumour growth.

PhD Biomedical Engineering degree holders can work as an Analytical Chemist, Toxicologist, Healthcare Scientist etc. in various industries such as Drug Manufacturing Unis, Industrial Laboratories, Health Entities etc.

• Candidate must have cleared post-graduate (PG) degree in respective discipline with score of minimum 60%

• Candidates have to be successful in IUET 2025 (Integral University Entrance Test ) along with Personal Interview

Exemption Criteria from Entrance Test

1. Candidates who have qualified in UGC NET/JRF, CSIR/SLET, GATE, GPAT examination with valid score or Teacher fellowship holder.
2. Candidates who have successfully completed regular M. Phil. programme from a recognized University/Institution.
