National Pharmacovigilance Week is an annual event aimed at promoting awareness about the importance of monitoring and reporting adverse drug reactions (ADRs). The 5thNational Pharmacovigilance Week, which will be held from September 17 -23, 2025, hosted by Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre (AMC), Faculty of Pharmacy and Department of Pharmacology, IIMSR, In collaboration with IIAHSR, IINSR, SPS and COP. It is a significant initiative aimed to encourage awareness about the critical importance of monitoring and reporting adverse drug reactions. The theme for this year's National Pharmacovigilance Week is ‘Your Safety, Just a Click Away: Report to PvPI’.
During the week, a variety of activities will be organized to engage different segments of the community, including a Walkathon, Rangoli competition, Quiz and Sensitizing sessions. These activities will designed to target health professionals, students and patients, all of whom play a crucial role in enhancing the safety and efficacy of pharmacovigilance practices in India.
