The Gender Champions Club, under the aegis of the Dean, Students’ Welfare, Integral University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education, Integral University, is organizing a Guest Lecture on “Gender Sensitization: Towards a Progressive and Inclusive Nation” on 24 August 2026 at Hall-2, Central Auditorium, Phase-I, Integral University, Lucknow.
The programme is being organized in alignment with the vision of “Inspiring the Excellence of Young Minds” and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5 – Gender Equality, with the objective of promoting awareness, equality, dignity, and inclusion among students.
The guest lecture will focus on the importance of gender sensitization in building a progressive and inclusive society. It will address gender stereotypes, discrimination, unconscious biases, and social and cultural factors influencing gender roles and perceptions. The session will encourage students to question traditional gender roles and contribute towards creating a more equitable, inclusive, and progressive society.
The session will be delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Huma Khwaja, Principal, Karamat Husain Muslim Girls P.G. College, Lucknow, who will share valuable insights on the significance of gender equality, awareness, education, and social inclusion in nation-building.
The programme is open to all students of Integral University, and students are encouraged to participate actively in this insightful session.
