On behalf of the Department of Commerce, I extend my warm welcome to all of you at the hub of academic excellence in the historic city of Lucknow, fondly known as the City of Nawabs. Over time, our academic community has proven that deliberate efforts, coupled with unwavering commitment, lead to outstanding achievements.

The Founder and Hon’ble Chancellor of this University, Prof. S. W. Akhtar, envisioned an institution deeply rooted in excellence, ethics, and values. Following his vision, the Department of Commerce began its journey in 2013 with just fifty-five students enrolled in the B. Com (Hons) program. Today, the department stands strong with over 750 students, marking a significant milestone in its growth and impact.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to transform the world through education. While this may sound ambitious, it is the driving force behind every initiative at the Department of Commerce.

This mission inspires our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners to work collectively toward academic and professional excellence. It shapes our teaching practices and fuels our research endeavors.

We set high standards for our students, providing them with a dynamic learning environment and comprehensive curricula designed to prepare them for success in an increasingly complex and technology-driven global economy. The department offers a diverse range of undergraduate programs, including:

2. Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) International Accounting & Finance in association with ACCA
3. Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Automobile Retail Management in association with Maruti Suzuki
4. Bachelor of Hotel Management(BHM)

At the postgraduate level, we offer:

2. Master of Commerce in International Accounting & Finance in association with ACCA
