  • Applied knowledge of Psychology Phenomenon and Psychological measurements of diagnosis, testing and reporting to analyze behavioural problems and related mental processes.
  • Identify the therapeutic approach required for the complex interpersonal or behavioural problems.
  • Design research problems involving Psychological testing, field work, statistical analysis and report presentations.

  • Knowledge of Economic System: Understand the basic and theoretical concept of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Public Finance, monetary analysis, financial marketing, environmental economics, International Trade, statistical and mathematical methods.
  • Theoretical Perspectives: Acquaint with the measurement of development with the help of theories along with the conceptual issues of poverty and inequalities with Indian perspectives.
  • Econometric Applications: Acquaint with basic and applied econometric tools and methods used in economics. The aim of this course is to provide a foundation in applied econometric analysis and develop skills required for empirical research in economics. It also covers statistical concepts of hypothesis testing, estimation and diagnostic testing of simple and multiple regression models.
  • Strategic Sustainable Management: This course emphasises on environmental problems emerging from economic development. Economic principles are applied to valuation of environmental quality, quantification of environmental damages, tools for evaluation of environmental projects such as cost-benefit analysis and environmental impact assessments.
  • Economics in Indian Perspectives: Familiarise and acquaint with the characteristics of the economy of India as well as States.

  • This programme is specifically designed for the students to make them aware about the freedom struggle, which was faced by the people of India before Independence.
  • It has specifically designed for the students of every stream, so that they could be aware about the Indian constitution, process of making constitution and other constitutional development which helped India in becoming a nation it is today.

  • Knowledge of Psychology: Students shall learn to define and understand the process of various aspects of psychology and learn the methods used for measuring psychological phenomena. So, they will be able to Identify, formulate, literature, and analyze psychological problems reaching substantiated conclusions using general principles of Psychology.
  • Identification of behavioural problems: Students shall understand the symptoms and etiology of the mental disorders and solutions in societal and environmental conflicts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, need for sustainable development.
  • Developmental milestones: Knowing the adaptive skills and developmental milestones of a human with an understanding of its cognitive growth. Application of the knowledge of various mental processes to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities essential for the development of mental health.
  • Psychological Assessments: Enable to conduct methods of effectively assessing complex psychological activities with the specific community or with society at large. Apply behavioural principles and theories to understand and determine the personality make up of an individual.
  • Practical applications: They shall learn to use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesisation of information to provide valid conclusions. Being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
  • Project management: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the conduction of psychological tests and field work and apply it to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of behavioural change. Further, function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
