Critical Thinking: Take informed actions after identifying the assumptions that frame our thinking and actions, checking out the degree to which these assumptions are accurate and valid, and looking at our ideas and decisions (intellectual, organizational, and personal) from different perspectives.
Research Related to Skill: with the study of economics the students enables to apply theoretical knowledge of empirical and social research and develop critical thinking’s.
Environment and Sustainability: Understand the issues of environmental contexts and sustainable development.
Ethics: Recognize different value systems including your own, understand the moral dimensions of your decisions, and accept responsibility for them.
Self-directed and Life-long Learning: Acquire the ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological changes

After the successful completion of this course students will aware of the freedom struggle movement of India.
They will know the sacrifices of our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives while achieving the complete independence from the Britishers.
It will create a spirit of nationalism among the students and help them to become obedient citizens by knowing the cost of freedom.
The course will let them know that being on the path of truth and non-violence we can achieve our goals.
This programme is also focusing on making students able to answer the general questions of the various competitive exams, so it’s also very useful in terms of knowledge and utility.
As an open elective this course also provides an atmosphere of discussion among the students of various other disciplines and courses.
Students will learn about the working nature and methods of the public servants through the study of public administration.

Applied knowledge of Psychology Phenomenon and Psychological measurements of diagnosis, testing and reporting to analyze behavioural problems and related mental processes.
Identify the therapeutic approach required for the complex interpersonal or behavioural problems.
Design research problems involving Psychological testing, field work, statistical analysis and report presentations.
Design the research process; analyze the components which will meet realistic needs of society, environment, mental health, personality and sustainability and ability to function with multidisciplinary teams on various projects and tasks.
Recognize the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning and acquire knowledge of recent contemporary issues of the discipline.

The Course is designed for the students pursuing graduation with Economics in regular mode.
The programme aims to inculcate economic thinking among the students in economic decision making by comprehending economic theory.
It aims to develop analytical view point in the students about the economic behaviour of people.
The objective is to nurture among student a view point of a socially responsible and ethical aware citizen.
This course is designed to provide basic and Advanced theoretical as well as methodological knowledge of Economics for application.

As a discipline this programme helps students to understand the rise of the spirit of Nationalism in India. It provides them to understand the Idea of an independent nation.
Students will get acquainted about the initiatives taken by the freedom fighters for getting India’s independence.
This programme will help them to know about the British rule over India and how they overcome from it.
It will give them access to the history of the constitution and constitutional developments which took place at the different phases of time.
This programme will provide them to know about the government functioning and the role of the nation and states in the development of a country.

Knowledge about the fundamental processes and core Psychological concepts, models, classical theories, various perspectives, and students will be able to apply it in day to day life.
They study and understand the processes of psychopathology along with the principles of determining personality through applications and practical approach towards social psychology.
They shall gain the skills of handling cognitive processes; learn various stages of developmental processes and applications of therapeutic approach towards mental illness by making use diagnostic scales and batteries.
Students shall exhibit understanding of applied aspects of various branches of psychology and their importance. They shall develop learning of Community Psychology and analytical approach of Organizational Psychology and counselling.
Enhance practical understanding of Psychology and psychological testing which will increase their problem solving skills and an ability to work in teams by gaining insight into research and lifelong learning in the field of Psychology.

(Program Specific Outcomes (PSO's))

Knowledge of Economic System: Understand the basic and theoretical concept of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Public Finance, monetary analysis, financial marketing, environmental economics, International Trade, statistical and mathematical methods.
Theoretical Perspectives: Acquaint with the measurement of development with the help of theories along with the conceptual issues of poverty and inequalities with Indian perspectives.
Econometric Applications: Acquaint with basic and applied econometric tools and methods used in economics. The aim of this course is to provide a foundation in applied econometric analysis and develop skills required for empirical research in economics. It also covers statistical concepts of hypothesis testing, estimation and diagnostic testing of simple and multiple regression models.
Strategic Sustainable Management: This course emphasises on environmental problems emerging from economic development. Economic principles are applied to valuation of environmental quality, quantification of environmental damages, tools for evaluation of environmental projects such as cost-benefit analysis and environmental impact assessments.
Economics in Indian Perspectives: Familiarise and acquaint with the characteristics of the economy of India as well as States.

This programme is specifically designed for the students to make them aware about the freedom struggle, which was faced by the people of India before Independence.
It has specifically designed for the students of every stream, so that they could be aware about the Indian constitution, process of making constitution and other constitutional development which helped India in becoming a nation it is today.
This course is designed to introduced the students how the Indian constitution came into force.
Through this course the students will aware of their rights which the constitution makers provide them in Indian constitution.

Knowledge of Psychology: Students shall learn to define and understand the process of various aspects of psychology and learn the methods used for measuring psychological phenomena. So, they will be able to Identify, formulate, literature, and analyze psychological problems reaching substantiated conclusions using general principles of Psychology.
Identification of behavioural problems: Students shall understand the symptoms and etiology of the mental disorders and solutions in societal and environmental conflicts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, need for sustainable development.
Developmental milestones: Knowing the adaptive skills and developmental milestones of a human with an understanding of its cognitive growth. Application of the knowledge of various mental processes to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities essential for the development of mental health.
Psychological Assessments: Enable to conduct methods of effectively assessing complex psychological activities with the specific community or with society at large. Apply behavioural principles and theories to understand and determine the personality make up of an individual.
Practical applications: They shall learn to use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesisation of information to provide valid conclusions. Being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
Project management: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the conduction of psychological tests and field work and apply it to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.
Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of behavioural change. Further, function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
