The department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology was established in year 2013 for fulfilling all norms of MCI to teach the medical students and develop their skill & knowledge about various medico legal issues of medical profession. Department has a well equipped Museum comprising of specimen of various poisons, weapons, soft tissues and human bones, charts, models, one laboratory for practical work, one mortuary in the campus with all the instruments used in autopsy and one library with more than 100 books to teach the students. In our subject we teach various medico legal cases, postmortem & medico legal issues, like poisoning, trauma burn etc. ethical issue, laws related to medical practices and various acts like Consumer Protection Act, Organ Transplantation Acts PCPNDT Act, Clinical Establishment Act, etc. by our well trained faculty from reputed institute.

Our faculty has main focus on quality teaching, practical training and preparing good doctors for the society to fulfill the needs of modern society.
