Since its inception, the department of orthopaedics at Integral Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Integral University, Lucknow has rapidly evolved over the last decade into one of the best centers for orthopaedics management with academic excellence in the city, performing exemplary work in the areas of patient care, teaching and research. We have highly qualified, trained, experienced and dedicated faculty to deal with all types of bone and joint disorders in an efficient and cost-effective way. In view of the rapid advancements in the field of orthopaedics, we have sub-specialty clinics for complex trauma, arthroplasty, sports injuries/ arthroscopy, spine, hand/ wrist and paediatric orthopaedics.
Currently there are 2 units with 7 faculty members/ 3 senior residents/ 4 junior residents, 60 exclusive beds and fully equipped modular operation theatres with all modern equipment’s including C-arm, arthroscope, drill machines and tourniquet. Out-patient services are provided from Monday to Saturday between 9am to 4pm while emergency services are available 24 hours. Physiotherapy services are also available for supportive treatment and proper post-operative rehabilitation.

Academic activities are performed regularly in the form of seminars, journal clubs, case presentations and group discussions. Moreover, there is a departmental library with renowned orthopaedics textbooks and reputed journals. Besides teaching the MBBS undergraduates, the department is also working towards starting postgraduation course in orthopedics soon.
