Integral University Awards

In order to encourage the best practices, innovation, and research, and to promote healthy competition amongst the Faculty members and Students, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor instituted the following awards, one in each category, which shall be conferred on occasion of the Foundation Day Function on annual basis.

1. OUTSTANDING RESEARCHER OF THE YEAR AWARD (For Faculty): (Arts/ Social Sciences/ Management (Award: Trophy and Prize of Rs. One lakh as Research Grant).
2. OUTSTANDING RESEARCHER OF THE YEAR AWARD (For Faculty): (Sciences/Biological Sciences/Engineering) (Award: Trophy and Prize of Rs. Two lakh as Research Grant).
3. BEST INNOVATION AWARD (For Faculty): Development of innovative product/prototype/patent by an individual or a group/consortium) (Award: Trophy and prize of Rs. Fifty Thousand as Research Grant).
4. BUDDING INNOVATOR AWARD (For University Students): For developing any innovative product/ novel prototype/ path breaking research carried out by individual or group [Teacher(s) or student(s)] (Award: Trophy and Cash prize of Rs. Ten thousand only).
5. BEST SPORTS PERSON OF THE YEAR (For University Male Student):(Award: Trophy, Cash prize of Rs. Five thousand only and Letter of Appreciation).
6. BEST SPORTS PERSON OF THE YEAR (For University Female Student): (Award: Trophy, Cash prize of Rs. Five thousand only and Letter of Appreciation).
7. Performance Linked Appreciation Awards for Faculty and Students for recognitions of research work, patent, startup and publications.

1. For awards listed above at Sr. No. 1 - 3, (all faculty members) and Sr. No. 5-6 (all students) of the University shall be eligible for applying as an individual or group/consortium.
2. Faculty interested in participating may send their applications on the prescribed proforma (available at Integral University portal: www.iul.ac.in.) for the AWARDS along with the details and supporting documents of the research work performed by them during each academic session. For BEST INNOVATOR AWARD, they also have to display/ showcase their innovation before the Jury/Assessment Committee.
3. The interested individuals/group of individuals are requested to submit their applications for the Awards at Sr. No. 1-3, to the Dean of the concerned School of Studies.
4. University students shall apply on the prescribed Proforma for the Budding Innovator Award and submit the application in the office of the concerned HoD/ Dean/ Coordinators/ Principals, for participation. They also have to display/ showcase their innovation before the Jury/Assessment Committee.
5. The Deans shall send the nominations pertaining to their faculty to the Office of Dean, Research & Development before the prescribed date.
6. The award shall be bestowed to a nominee (teacher/students) only once.
7. In case, the Jury/Assessment Committee does not find any application/nomination worthy of being considered for the award in any given year, no award shall be given in that category.
8. For awards at Sr. No. 5 and 6, applications on plain paper with the personal details and self- attested supporting documents be submitted to the Convener, Sports Performance Assessment Committee. The committee shall submit the recommendations in sealed cover with original applications to the Office of Dean Students Welfare latest by as indicated. Copy of all the applications and supporting documents must be maintained in the Office of DSW/Director Sports for records. Incomplete nominations/ nominations received after the last date or incomplete nominations shall not be considered.
