The department has a well-equipped state-of-the-art language lab that provides Computer-Aided Language Learning (CALL) to the Engineering and all other students. The language lab is equipped with ODLL Software. It has also the provision of audio-visual aids which are employed by the faculty to show educational videos to the students concerned. The students are also made to participate in group discussions, presentations and small talks. Students are specially trained in the lab. The main focus is on correct and appropriate pronunciation through Phonetic Alphabet (phonic-drill) and Phonetic Transcription.
