The programs aim to educate the students in both the artistry and utility of the English language for professional purposes through the study of language and literature. The key component of the various types of professional communication is basically communication in the English language which is now a global language. The department of Languages caters to the needs of the students aspiring for training, expertise and excellence in professional communication with a marked emphasis on English for Specific/Special Purposes (ESP).
The programmes will develop proficiency in the English, Arabic, German, French languages which shall reach to a level of proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, primarily. The students will be capable of conducting research, analysis, evaluation, independent thinking and criticism of literary and cultural texts from different historical periods and genres. The students will be mighty agents of Professional, Cultural and Cross-cultural Communication. They will academically envisioned with intellectual flexibility, creativity, and cultural literacy so that they may engage in life-long learning and improvement. The courses will enable the students to improve both their ability to communicate and their linguistic competence in mostly used language today. The courses will sensitize the learners about the power and importance of the nature of languages and the act of communication and gender division. They will demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of different literatures available in English. The professional communication courses aim to prepare the young minds ready for the industry and other social and national services. The students will be proficient in oral communication and writing and will be able to apply critical and theoretical approaches to the world.
