Another Step towards Academic Excellence - An MoU between Integral University and KGMU

Amidst this myriad of Covid-19 positive cases in Lucknow the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed between King George Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow and Integral University, Lucknow on Monday 6th July, 2020 has given all of us a hope that our heydays are nearer.

What makes this pact of acute importance is the pandemic epoch. When a virus is on loose this has kept the doors of University shut for a longer period. Students, especially who are going to be graduate this year have been long awaiting for the revival of classroom education.

This MOU is going to take classroom education to a next level. It is going to expand opportunities for students. Also the terms and condition will make sure about Integral University in collaboration with KGMU should deliver upon their words.

Knowledge and research work being prioritized is going be a silver lining for college youth. This pact was made possible in the presence of Prof. Aqil Ahmad, Vice Chancellor (acting), Integral University, Dr. Mohd Haris Siddiqui, Director (Admission and Academics), Integral University and Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt, the then Vice Chancellor, KGMU.

MOU has long term benefits associated with it supposedly innovative project works, development activities which will be ensured together by Integral University and KGMU.

The purpose of this MOU is to set forth the terms and conditions, scope of work and responsibilities of the parties associated with their collaboration on training/lab work/research etc., specifically. Both the parties will co-operate to development of project/activities.


Just as despair can come to one only from other human beings, hope too can be given to one only by other human beings. The King George’s Medical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, a Body Corporate State Medical University with a perpetual succession and a common seal, under the King George’s Medical University, Uttar Pradesh Act, 2002 (U.P. Act No. 8 of 2002) passed by the State Legislature and Integral University, accredited by NAAC and recognized as a Scientific & Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under sections 2(f) and 12B of the UGC Act,1956, Medical Council of India in order to share the facilities and expertise available in each other’s institution, herewith sign a Memorandum of Understanding.


Kudos to the management authority for stepping forward and lighting this lamp of hope following the regulations of minimal contact and sanitization, the signing of MOU is a good Kickstart for back to college season.

The MOU will pave ways of opportunities for both the organizations, a partnership which will enrich and enhance the scholars for the betterment of everyone.
