It is a pleasure to congratulate Imran Ullah Khan, Associate Professor (J), Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, who has been elevated to the grade of Senior Member of the IEEE this year. Senior Member is the highest professional grade of the IEEE for which a member may apply. It requires extensive experience and reflects professional accomplishment and maturity.

Integral appreciates his endeavor as only 10% of more than 400,000 members have achieved this level. IEEE Senior Membership is an honor bestowed only to those who have made significant contributions to the profession for technical and professional excellence.

IEEE (pronounced Eye-triple-E) stands for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. The official website of IEEE website refers that it’s an association dedicated to advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of humanity and is the world’s largest technical professional society. It is designed to serve professionals involved in all aspects of the electrical, electronic and computing fields and related areas of science and technology that underlie modern civilization. IEEE has more than 423,000 members in more than 160 countries.

With the professional experience of approx 16 years, Mr. Imran Khan has substantial work with scientific papers, books and inventions on engineering to his credit. He is the University Center Coordinator for Indian institute of Remote sensing ,ISRO Outreach Programme

The University applauds this significant milestone for him and anticipates that this experience would be immensely fruitful to his students and his expertise would bring in more value to the department. The Department of Electronics Technology is one of the oldest & notable departments at Integral, established in 1998. The department secured NBA accreditation in 2007, equipped with the most advanced labs, this department nurtures young minds & provides them the appropriate launch pads to grow and excel in the technical world. The department offers courses, which are industrial in focus as well as research oriented.
