An MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed between the Embassy of Socialist Republic of Vietnam, New Delhi, India, and Integral University, Lucknow, India on 17th March 2021 at Vietnam Embassy, New Delhi.

The signing of this MOU will open new doors of possibilities for the students of Vietnam. The purpose of this MOU is to provide affordable and quality higher education opportunity for Vietnamese students to study in India at Integral University campus and further enhance cultural interaction between Vietnam and Lucknow region. Vietnam and Integral University will ensure that more students come to India to pursue studies under the ‘Ambassador’s Scholarship Programme’ for students of Vietnam to study undergraduate and postgraduate courses and deepen ties between India and Vietnam.

The said MOU was signed in the auspicious presence of H.E. Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, Ambassador, Socialist Republic of Vietnam to India, and Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar, Pro-Chancellor, Integral University, Lucknow.

While signing the Mou, H.E. Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, Ambassador, Socialist Republic of Vietnam to India said that “Our objective is to stimulate and facilitate the development of collaborative and mutually beneficial programs which serve to enhance the intellectual life and cultural development of both countries, and to contribute to increased international cooperation between India and Vietnam,”

Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar, Pro Chancellor, Integral University also expressed his gratitude and said “We feel privileged to offer merit scholarships to Vietnamese students, who have a distinct reputation for being laborious, hardworking and disciplined and look forward to further promoting Indo-Vietnamese relations and making them stronger through education."

The signing of the MOU in these tough times of the Corona Virus Pandemic gives the message that no matter what happens, knowledge and education should remain unaffected and continue progressing for the betterment of mankind. According to the MOUs, Vietnam nationals can apply for 2021 Ambassador's undergraduate, masters and PhD Scholarship tenable in India for four courses commencing in September or October 2021.

The MOU will pave ways of opportunities for both the parties, a partnership which will enrich and enhance the scholars for the betterment of everyone.
