The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) in Uttarakhand and the Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (Deemed to be University) in Tamil Nadu co-hosted the colloquium.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan, Chairman of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC); Shri Avinash Rai Khanna, Vice-Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society and Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party; Padma Bhushan & Padma Bhushan & Padma Bhushan & Padma Bhushan & Padma Bhushan & Padma Bhushan & Padma Prof Lawrence Pratchett, Former Pro-Vice-Chancellor – International, University of Canberra, Australia; Shri Dr Anil Prakash Joshi, Founder, Himalayan Environmental Studies and Conservation Organization (HESCO); Shri Shaurya Doval, Founder, India Foundation; and Prof Anil Prakash Joshi, Founder, Himalayan Environmental Studies and Conservation Organization (HESCO).
"Knowledge, Action, Character, and Mental Strength are necessary for Quality Education, and desired change is only attainable via education," remarked Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan, the Chief Guest. Shri Avinash Rai Khanna, Vice-Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society and Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, addressed the audience as the guest of honour and put forth a five-point agenda for higher education institutions.
Dr Anil Prakash Joshi, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, Founder, Himalayan Environmental Studies and Conservation Organization (HESCO), gave the conclave's inaugural keynote lecture.
"SDG is a difficult paradigm, but it is extremely vital for making the world a better place to live," stated Prof Lawrence Pratchett, former Pro-Vice-Chancellor – International, University of Canberra, Australia, in his closing keynote presentation.
Integral University will gain additional possibilities as a result of signing this Declaration, as well as improvements in each department, providing Quality Education to every student.
The "Goa Declaration" was signed by Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar, Pro-Chancellor, Integral University, as well as representatives from a number of other prestigious Indian universities.
