Convocation is a great public milestone when the university celebrates the accomplishments of its graduates. Convocation is a commemoration of their lives at Integral University and an opportunity to share their significant milestone with faculty, peers, family and friends.

The XII Integral University Convocation was held on 3rd November 2020. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and in order to follow the social distancing norms set by the Central and State Governments, the ceremony was a virtual one and it was live telecast on Integral University’s official YouTube channel IntegralUniversity_InspiringExcellence Click Here to view the telecast of XII Convocation 2020.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed everything from how we teach and learn to how we graduate. This is not only the year of novel virus but the year of novel methods of connecting with our students and sharing our achievements virtually.

Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi glorified the commemoration as the Chief Guest along with Prof. S. W. Akhtar, Hon’ble Chancellor and Founder, Integral University. Other delegates include Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar, Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Aqil Ahmad, Vice Chancellor (Acting), Prof. Irfan Ali Khan, Registrar and Prof. Abdul Rahman Khan, Controller of Examination.

The commemoration was set in motion by Dr. Saba Siddiqui. This was the first time that this august ceremony was held virtually. These are tough times that the world is going through a pandemic and Integral University is trying its hardest to bridge the gap between the students and their college life.

Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Aquil Ahmad announced the results of the academic session, mentioning the history of academic and social excellence of Integral University.

The Convocation address was delivered by Prof. Ashutosh Sharma. He said, “No matter what your grades are, all of you will contribute to Science to Society and to nation in extraordinary ways.” He urged the students to work towards achieving the vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister in building a new India.

He further appreciated the IIMSR for treating the Covid-19 pandemic affected patients.

Prof. S.W. Akhtar took to the stage to bestow his blessings and congratulates and appreciates the student’s hard work even in these tough times.

Following the speeches by dignitaries, a pledge was taken by graduating students to utilize their knowledge in the service of the nation in its march towards an inclusive and sustainable society.

Ms. Tarannum Firdaus, Master of Computer Applications and Ms. Anum Kamal, B.Tech. CSE, excelled as the University Toppers, receiving the Gold Medal and the Silver Medal respectively. Total number of degrees given was 2660 in which there were 41 PhDs, 625 PGs, 1833 UGs, and 152 Diplomas in Pharmacy and 9 Diploma in Elementary Education. 59 Gold and 60 Silver medals were given to toppers of all the respective fields.

Throughout the programme, the sense of pride and achievement was sheer noticeable.

The ceremony was concluded by melodious University Taraana and National Anthem which cherished the hearts of everyone.
