The Webinar was organized under the patronage of Prof. S. W. Akhtar, Founder and Hon’ble Chancellor, Integral University, Prof. Javed Musarrat, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. S. Nadeem Akhtar, Pro-Chancellor, and Prof. T. Usmani, Dean of Engineering, Integral University, Lucknow. The conveners of the Webinar were Dr. Syed Hasan Saeed, Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Prof. N.R. Kidwai, Director IQAC, Integral University. The agenda of this Webinar focused heavily on interconnectivity, automation, machine learning, and real-time data. Industry 4.0, also sometimes referred to as IIoT or Smart manufacturing, is a blend of physical production and operations with smart digital technology, machine learning, and big data to create a more holistic and better-connected ecosystem for companies that focus on manufacturing and supply chain management.
The Webinar Series was inaugurated Live through the official YouTube Channel of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 26th July 2021 wherein the session was conducted by Dr. Imran Ullah Khan with the welcome address to the Resource Person for the Day, Mr. Rohit Sharma who has highlighted the importance of the theme and how the world has changed around us with various IoT technologies.
