The Vision of the Department is :

To develop a vibrant and technologically relevant Civil Engineering professional through a globally acceptable curriculum in a conducive teaching- learning environment. The generation of new knowledge and innovations with the assistance of qualified and dynamic faculty, as well as a strong interface with industry and R&D organizations.

Mission

The Mission of the Department is :

To train Civil Engineers who are professionally sound, have a wealth of knowledge and entrepreneurial abilities, and are fit for present and future global needs of the industry, with adequate consideration for ethical, ecological, and economic issues.
To develop and maintain technological prowess in the field of Civil Engineering, with the goal of providing real-world solutions to industry through consultancy.
Contribute towards Nation-Building through research & development of technological capabilities, as well as capacity-building extension activities.
